The
images below are sculptural presentations of themes which are dear to people
who live in our area of Maritime Canada........the great blue heron, the moose,
the Atlantic salmon and the chickadee and violets (which are the provincial
bird and flower of New Brunswick). The moose and loon images are adaptations
of works by Glen Loates, who
many years ago, when we first began sandcarving, graciously consented to allowing
his images to be interpreted in another medium.
